Assist Travel / Transport

At Living Care Specialist, we understand that having reliable and accessible transport is key to maintaining independence and staying connected with your community. Through our Assist Travel and Transport Program, we support NDIS participants to travel safely, confidently, and independently—whether by public transport or private vehicle.

Our goal is to make your travel experience smooth and stress-free while helping you build the skills to navigate your community with confidence.

We provide:

• Support and training to use public transport (bus, train, or tram)
• Guidance on reading timetables and planning routes
• Assistance with purchasing, recharging, and using travel cards such as the MetroCard
• Safe and comfortable transport to essential appointments and community activities

If your NDIS plan includes transport-related supports or equipment, our team can also assist by driving you to and from your destinations.

You can schedule transport for:

• Medical and therapy appointments
• Work or volunteer placements
• Educational institutions
• Local shopping trips
• Community events, social groups, or clubs
• Parks, libraries, and recreational activities

All transport bookings are arranged in advance to ensure a smooth and reliable service.
