Mrs. Irons received her Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Saint Francis College of Nursing. She worked as a bedside nurse in pre/post-surgical care, general medical, and gastrointestinal services for approximately 7 years. She then returned to school for her Master of Science in nursing from Olivet Nazarene University, and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020.
Mrs. Irons enjoys primary care and has a passion for patient education, empowering patients to be active in improving their health and wellbeing. Originally from East Peoria, IL, Ashley and her husband relocated to North Carolina in 2021 with their two children. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, taking care of her farm animals, working out, reading, and outdoor activities.
